Flaming Fire

FIRE has been a significant element of all cultures and religions from pre-history to modern day and was fundamental to the progress of civilization. It has been regarded in many diverse contexts throughout olden times, but especially as a metaphysical constant of the world.
This element distinguishes itself in its immense warmth, and its capacity to provide radiance in darker situations. Its warmth and light can be very supportive of life, but when out of control can become relatively destructive. The inner light of this element can make fire individuals appears quite self-reliant, confident, self-assured and even assertive. It also makes it self-expressive and highly enthusiastic.
Fire is also an spontaneous and a treacherous element, that can rage and all of a sudden burst. Fire is persistent and exhilarating and extremely not restrained. It is seen as the power blazing inside us, giving us an iron strength of will to go for our goals, bestowing upon us the passion to do it with all of ourself, resulting in the principle and liberty to do it without backstabbing and with an open face.
This is the one element that is never taken for granted. Then of course we cannot ignore the negative power that fire exerts. In other words – fire is an element that is to be treated with the utmost of respect, and must never be considered “tame”.

Element: WATER

The element of water is expressed in dark blues and black. These colors invite personal wisdom. The energy of water element is represented by any shape that produces flow. Still water energy is represented by any shape that would holds water and creates a womb like effect. Moving water shapes are drawn as cascades or ripples. This energy flows to the sides and down.
Water is often also interpreted as the purest form of liquid, as the "primal liquid", which only appears in different shapes and forms, but in its transformation always retains its basic elemental properties.
Water stands, like Fire, for deep, but also for variable, or - expressed in a positive way - "open" emotions, for the acceptance of diversity and the will for the new. Water also represents the contemplative moment, the searching in your inner self, for the discovering of the deepest and darkest things of yourself but also for unleashed chaos, for uncertainty without a goal.
Water is about tranquility, gentleness and compassion, the blossoming of an open heart. It is about love, and above all the love of giving for its' own sake, and without conditions.

Garden Beauty

I'm bored during this day. And so I grabbed by camera and relaxed in our garden. Ask myself, "what i'm going to do? I have no "trip" for this day." I saw the moon. It's a new moon. An ordinary new moon. And here it is!
The yellowbell flower grows just along our gate. It's an ordinary flower that crawls our fence. I like this photo because i got this at sunset. I really like the colors.

It's a Beautiful Day!

Yup! that's right! It's a beautiful day. No more rain showers. For the past 2 weeks, almost every day is a gloomy day. So blessed that today is just a beautiful day. My laundry are all dried. hehehe We had lunch together with my family at Mintal, Davao City. Got a crave for a deep fried "pantat" or they called it catfish.
A rooster! A view from my window every morning. I like this photo because of the strong "personality" i think that this rooster projects!
And of course, the Majestic Mt. Apo! When I noticed the color of the Mt. Apo, I immediately grabbed my camera and here ye!
This Sunday, I thank our Creator for this wonderful things around us. The sunrise. A new day to live by... **wink**

Thank God I Found You

Valentine's Day is near... I dropped by the mall to buy some stuff for myself. Hey! Love is in the air. People are busy buying gifts for their love ones... Enough about this buying stuffs. Anyways, I found this photo from my sister's folder. I remember how I met Mark...

We met through one of the social networking in Late 2007. I think its December. I didn't mind him because I just don't wanna trust online relationships. Although we came from the same school. We have common friends. But I don't know him personally. We met only for a few minutes. I'm not really comfortable. In year 2008, I stopped communicating with him. I'm in Cebu and he's in Davao. in Year 2009, I came back here in Davao. Got my new job in Real Estate Industry. It was weekend. Valentine's day. I'm walking at the park. My friend is a band member. And they are invited for gig. The next day, I was surprised! Mark has a message! He saw me at the park and was too shy to approach me. Maybe I will not remember him. And from then on, we became textmates again. Getting to know each other. Another surprising thing, on that the same year, March 2009 he resigned from his job and got a job in General Santos City. I got my job in June. We came from the same company!
And since then, we shared a lot of experiences and stories. Until our friendship grown deeper. And I really thank God for having him. I regret for the two years I wasted. But its ok. In that two years, I learned a lot.. If you're really meant for each other, everything will come into place in the least expected way... **wink** I love you Mark. Thank you for coming and staying in my life. I love you so much!

Go For Camiguin!

I was scanning my photos. Stumbled with these pictures and suddenly wish for a summer vacation! My mind just want exploring somewhere. Enough out of the country escapade. I missed being with nature. Once visited Camiguin and I love it! That was 10 years ago. There are a lot new spots to hang out there, as what my friends told me. Last time we went there, only falls (Katibawasan Falls), hot spring(Ardent), hike (Mt. Hibok-hibok-my photo above) and their famous native delicacy (Pastel). Some people brought their tents and camp at the parks.

I recommend to visit Camiguin when you come in Philippines. There are a lot of resorts to spend the night. A lot of food trips and nature tripping. A truly get away from busy and stressful city life.

Road of Our Lives

THE ROAD OF OUR LIVES
by Martin Nievera

We are travelling the road of our lives
Findin' our way with the will to survive
Dealing with the lows and the highs
Day by day

On our journey we will do the best we can
If we stumble and fall and we struggle to stand
Lift us up with your helping hand
We'll be on our way

Chorus:
Whatever you do, I'll walk with you
Hoping that your every dream will come true
Anytime anywhere, I'll always be there
Wishing you love and happiness because I care

When it's shining bright I'll be by your side
And in the darkness of night, I'll be there to guide
Holdin' on to each other tight
Come what may

As we travel down the road of our lives
Making our way with a dream and the drive
Trading the lows for the highs
Day by day

My Lucky Charms

Tomorrow, February 3, is Chinese New Year. Well, I'm not Chinese but I collect stuffs. Some of these are figurines and crystals.

First of all, I was born in 1983. And that's a Water Pig. They say, we are fun and have an enlightening personality blessed with patience and understanding. I agree with this. And I am the type of person who cares to others so much to the point that I will just do anything for a friend in need.

Rose Quartz.. This is funny! I bought this from Singapore during a vacation for a souvenir. I read about this stone. A gemstone for LOVE!

Money Frog... I don't know why I bought this. I think was only curious what luck it would bring to me. I bought this from mall. And serves as a decoration in my room. **wink**

Crystal... My mom bought this in Singapore. They said it has healing properties and absorbs negative energies.

My Jade pendant... I love this! It never left me.. I mean, there are times that I thought I lost this one. When I searched for it, it just dropped. It stucked in my clothes.

These things are only symbols. It is how we deal and manage our life that is really important. We create our own destiny and luck.

Kung Hei Fat Choi to all Chinese out there!

Chilly Weekend

It is a chilly Friday... Early in the morning, I can hear the leaves and the wind blowing outside my window.. Well, it drizzled.. Lazy to got up... I wanna roll and cuddle with my pillow and continue with my sleep.

Nice to have a cup, i mean, a mug of coffee.. Having breakfast during a chilly morning makes me lazy to got up. hehehehehe

Love to stay at our terrace and feel that chilly breeze gently at my face. Hope tomorrow will be a better day. Not gloomy...

Completed Staff Work

Well, you may wonder what gotten into me why this is my topic. I attended a seminar yesterday about Completed Staffwork. And I enjoyed and learned a lot from the workshop. Simple things may be complicated.

Completed staffwork is the total analysis and preparation of a task a person/team so that after their presentation of the solution all that remains to be done by the next level of management is to agree the action/solution proposed.

So what are the key steps?
>> being clear on what you're about to do
>> you should be addressing on a right person
>> if some points that are unclear, consult with those directly and indirectly involved
>> communicate in the right way
>> be brief and to the point
>> your boss and anyone else involved should be informed
>> you should follow up agreed points
>> you should meet customer's requriements
>> review what you did frequently

Just simple points to remember when at work.

You and Me

Another year passed... Another year ahead...
I'm thankful that I found you. There are some misunderstandings. But I hope these will be tests to our relationship. I guess meeting you is an extraordinary event. And I hope this dream will be forever.

Thank you for making me strong in times that I want to give. For your patience, even if sometimes you made me cry for bullying me. At the end, you're the sweetest person I've ever met. For the time you spent with me. I'm hard-headed. But still you managed to handle me.

You're a blessing. You're heaven's gift to me. Thank you for coming.

Happy New Year!
